Westside Veterinary Service FAQs
Do I need an appointment?
While we understand that sometimes emergencies cannot be planned as appointments, we do ask that, if possible, you can give us a call to schedule your visit with us at least 24 hours in advance. If your pet is sick, we WILL see you, but we may have to work you in or have you leave your pet with us in order to work it in.
Schedule an appointment online here.
Are you open on Sundays?
We are not open on Sundays, however, we are open:
Monday through Friday: 7:30 am – 6:00 pm
Saturday: 7:30 am: – 1:00 pm.
We take appointments for our doctors from 8:00 am – 11:30 am and 1:30 pm-3:45 pm Monday through Friday and 8:00 am – 11:30 am on Saturdays.
Do you have payment plans?
Payment is due upon completion of services. We understand that times can be tough and some things can’t be planned for, but, we are unable to offer financing through us. We do, however, take CareCredit and can help you apply for financial help from them. We also accept all major credit cards, cash, or check.
Learn more about our payment options here.
Do you have after hours services?
We recommend trying to get your pet in during regular doctor hours, but sometimes mishaps occur once we all have left for the day. In the event of an emergency, we do have a doctor on call to assist you. An additional fee will be applied for this service.
Can I visit my hospitalized pet?
Sometimes, it is not in the best interest of your pet to have visitors. We ask that you give us a call before your planned visit to be sure that it won’t be detrimental to him or her. If all is well, we are happy to let you visit with your pet. Sometimes a hug from the family does a world of difference.
Am I able to bring comforts of home for my boarding pet?
We do not mind you bringing things from home for your pet, but we do try to discourage this as sometimes things get lost, dirty, or broken/torn. We have plenty of blankets and bowls to keep your pet comfy, as well as Hill’s Science Diet food to feed. We DO encourage you to bring any medications and/or special foods that your pet needs.
Do you board?
We do have some boarding capabilities, however, space is limited and we fill up fast for holidays and school breaks. Schedule a couple of weeks in advance to ensure a spot.
